The superleggera V4 has also the distinction of the only street-legal motorcycle with all carbon fibre structure, including carbon swingarm, carbon fiber wheel and evencarbon fiber bodywork, the carbon fiber rolling chassis alon accounts for 6.7 kg weight loss. add to that other lightweight component, including titanium and aluminium bits, its not difficult to see how those weight savings have been achieved . There also brembo braking system, with ans MSC master cylinder as well as stylema calipers, the latest version of brembos top spec calipers.
The ducati superleggera V4 has designed with advance aerodynamic package that makes superleggera V4 to light and gives high speed. The aerodynamic package is derived from Ducati Desmosedici GP16 race bike from Moto GP helps keep things in control. according to ducati, the winglet set-up on the fairing offers almost double the downforce-50 kg of its created at 270 kmph to keep the front end hooked to terra firma. The winglets are also said to improve ant-wheelie characterstics out of high speed corner exits, and also improve braking stability on the straight . Design
The ducati design philosophy is built by subtraction , recognizing the purest style in the in-depth research of essential shepes. Even the aesthetics of color is built with respect for the nature of the element. And in 1708 it is possible to distinguish with Ducati red the original color of the precious materials that compose it: the different types of carbon, titanium, aluminium.
Aerodynamic is the most important evolutionary element of this superleggera V4 on which its was important to measure the intervention as a designer. It was a visual starting point on which to elaborate all the aesthetic detail of bike.
